quinoa salad bowl


Continuing with my theme this week using my “weekly basics” I made a yummy salad bowl. I used the last of my organic salad greens from the garden with quinoa, walnuts, blueberries, grapes and pumpkin seeds. Drizzled with my usual olive oil and balsamic this salad proved a winner at home. EAT ME

  1. I wish I could have this for lunch right now! I’m laughing, because I thought the giant red pepper was real!!! I thought, “Wow, that ladybug likes it SPICY!”


  2. Quinoa in salads is always good – any special dressing ideas? I’ve been on a spicy kick lately, just a touch of sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame seed…..I try to keep it as low fat as possible (so I can add excessive amounts of avocado) but I’m always looking for ideas.
