I had never heard of this dessert, but when I came across it in a cookbook I like titled “Pure Vegan” I gave it a go. It’s a super sweet and kinda nutty treat (with tahini, an ingredient I never used!!!). I tried to cut smaller pieces (fudge size), around 1 1/2 inches X 1 1/2 inches.

i love halva, havent had it since i was a kid, theres sooo many different types of varieties too. i had tahini and nutella on toast yesterday, it was really good, yo should try it! xxx

I use tahini when I want to make my pasta dishes creamy. You can also use it as a garnish, just add lemon juice, salt and garlic, and thin with a little water.

i guess those would make a great match with mangos, maybe mangos in syrup.
