raspberry summer

Berry Patch Alert!!! Todays pick in my organic berry patch are sun warmed raspberries. With such an abundance I like to eat fresh, and also freeze. To freeze, don’t wash first-just inspect for dirt/bugs. Lay out in a single layer on a baking sheet and “flash freeze” for 2 or 3 hours, then put in freezer bags and return to freezer until you want to use them.

  1. I enjoy your posts and they make me want to try new foods – I will be trying your homemade pickles soon. Thanks for sharing. Today I was looking for a car and ran across this listing for a RatRod and it made me think of you and your husband, whose music I love as well. Just wanted to send you a link in case you were looking for a fun gift for him. I AM NOT related to the post at all. Here is it just for fun…http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/5208723280.html. Feel free to delete this post, but I thought it may be fun for you.
